Hey All,

I just wanted to check in, let you know what's going on and see how every one's doing!!

This summer has been wonderful! Not working too hard but having a lot of fun and I guess getting the word out a bit. I am very grateful to my community and the Anchorage Press for voting me "Anchorage's Best Local Singer". It's nice to be acknowledged, especially when there are so many talented people that could be listed in that category!! Thanks again to all who voted and I'll do my best to keep up the good hard work!

I had a great time opening for Jewel last week! It was such a great experience to play in the Atwood theater, the sounds was amazing! Thanks to Dan @ the Moose's Tooth for the opportunity  Jewel was very sweet and she wrote some nice things in her tweets and blog about me and Alaska in general.  To all you 818er's, if that doesn't make you want to come up here well.....

I'm looking forward to a few more shows this fall and then taking some time to work on new projects so stay posted. One thing I've really been wanting to do for awhile is host a monthly Jam for Charity here in town. Just something once a month where musicians and artists can team up with local charities, raise awareness and funds, do some outreach, and make difference in our community while having some fun. I'm very happy to say that the Spenard Roadhouse (voted "Anchorage's Best New Restaurant") will be sponsoring these events the 2nd Saturday of every month. The first one being October 10th featuring myself, Sean "Spiff" Chambers, and Dan Lesperance. Come check it out and get involved.
